Lotus Montessori is a wonderful gem in the Cherrywood neighborhood and we are so grateful that our son had the opportunity to attend from age 4 through kindergarten. The teachers encourage the students to follow their individual passions and the flexibility of creative play creates a magical environment. The big feelings experienced by little people are respected and we saw huge emotional growth in our son during his time at Lotus. We loved being part of a smaller, tight knit community and the connection to other families that it provided.

“My son was lucky enough to start attending Lotus Montessori upon its opening in the Fall of 2018. Over the last three years, my whole family has fallen more and more in love with this special place. The warmth of Amilyn and Sharon and the beauty of the Montessori environment they have created initially drew us in, but Lotus is even more than that- it is a small tight knit community where children are seen and respected as beautifully unique individuals. Students are encouraged to pursue a deeper understanding of all of their giftings and curiosities- whether music, dance, storytelling or the more traditional Montessori subjects like language, math, zoology or geography. At Lotus children can follow their interests and grow into the little humans they are meant to be. My son is thriving in this environment, and I am excited to send his younger siblings along with him in the fall!”
